This summer, Muhlenberg will welcome rising high school juniors and seniors to campus for a two-week immersive test drive of the college experience. The Muhlenberg Summer Institute, which runs June 28 through July 11, will offer six programs in sought-after disciplines in which students will work closely with faculty, build their portfolios, and experience life at Muhlenberg.

“We are very excited to welcome talented high school students to our campus,” says Muhlenberg President Kathleen Harring. “These programs give students an opportunity to explore new topics led by exceptional faculty and will give them a real taste of college life. Aside from an eye-opening two weeks, students will come away with an experience that will really benefit them in the college application process.”

The Muhlenberg Summer Institute programs being offered in 2026 include the following:

  • New Media, Journalism, and the Search for Truth: Understand where news comes from and what makes it news.
  • From Posts to Paychecks: Learn how social media makes money.
