Career Center Adds “Women Entrepreneurs” Panel

As part of the College’s 50th anniversary of co-education celebration, the Career Center will host a “Women Entrepreneurs” alumni panel on Thursday, April 3.

This panel will take place at 4:30 p.m. in Seegers Union, room 111. This event is co-sponsored by the Business and Economics Club.

This forum will provide an opportunity for students to hear from female alumni and their experiences in starting businesses, as well as providing a chance to answer questions relating to business and entrepreneurship.

Lauri Carbone ’03 will talk about her work as an independent photographer, founder of Lalee Photography and former owner of Tangerine Photography. (www.laleephotography.com)

Kimberley Clark ’83 will share her experiences as co-founder of Luxe d'Europa, a personal life management group for the affluent market. She will speak about her company’s work in bridging the gap between financial and non-financial lives with the goal of creating ease of living. (www.luxedeuropa.com)

Randi Schweriner ’87 will talk about co-founding Adirondack Solutions where she is currently the CFO. Her company helps create niche software primarily for the college student life market. (www.adirondacksolutions.com)
