Our accounting curriculum is responsive to the real world changes in the field. Courses focus on broad accounting concepts and issues while also developing the teamwork, communication, technical and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed professionally in today's world.

You’ll be encouraged to enhance their leadership skills, develop high ethical standards and achieve their full potential.

Part of our commitment to that includes ensuring that students who wish to pursue their CPA exam upon graduation have amassed the credit hours and other requirements necessary by any given state state board of accountancy. You’ll be navigating this extra load of coursework and experiential learning opportunities with a faculty advisor who will be making certain you’re on the right track.

Students who have plans to pursue their CPA exam requirements, study abroad or participate in other special programs, are encouraged to enroll in ACT 101 - Financial Accounting during the spring semester of their first year at Muhlenberg.
