This concentration includes a required study abroad experience at one of several specialized sites. This specialized concentration prepares graduates for careers in:

  • local, national, and international public health departments, nongovernmental organizations

Area Studies (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America)

This concentration strongly encourages students to incorporate one or more semesters of study abroad at one of Muhlenberg’s numerous approved sites in their target geographic area with an emphasis upon cultural immersion.
