Important Financial Aid Changes:

|The United States government recently announced two changes to the Financial Aid Process. These changes will affect all students applying for financial aid for the upcoming 2017-18 school year. First, starting with the 2017-2018 Award Year, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available on October 1st. Second, packaging will now be based on Prior-Prior Year tax information. Starting with the 2017-2018 Award Year, the FAFSA and the CSS Profile will now be completed using tax information from two years prior. The 2017-2018 FAFSA and CSS Profile will be completed using 2015 tax year data.|

- The average Muhlenberg College grant / scholarship for a traditional student for the academic year of 2016-2017 was $23,256
- The average financial aid package (including student loans and student employment) for a traditional student was $28,103.
