Martin Luther King Jr. Week Programming Announced
Muhlenberg College will celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. with #BlackLivesMatter: A Luta Continua (The Struggle Continues), a week of interactive, interdisciplinary programming that runs from January 18 - 24.

Events range from film-screenings and art exhibits to panels and lectures to open discussions about race and local issues. A full schedule of events is listed below.
The celebration is sponsored by: the Africana Studies Program, the Black Student Association, the Center for Ethics, the Diversity Strategic Planning Committee, the Film Studies Program, Healthy Youth Peer Education (HYPE) program, the Media and Communication Department, Muhlenberg College Hillel, the Office of the Chaplain, the Office of Community Engagement, the Office of the Dean of Students, the Office of Multicultural Life, the Student Activities Office and the Social Justice Collaborative.

Gospel Weekend
Edward "Chief" Menifee, musician at Morehouse College Chapel in Atlanta, leads a workshop with Rejoice! Gospel Choir. Guests are welcome to participate in the rehearsals and be part of the concert, or are welcome to simply attend the performance.
