Full Calendar

Masses in Egner Chapel are open to the public in accord with the College's current visitor guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic. All visitors are asked to comply with these guidelines if they desire to attend Mass in Egner Chapel. Students who attend Mass in either Egner Chapel or the Newman Center are asked to follow all current College policies on masking and social distancing. 


Celebration of Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation

Masses are usually celebrated on Sunday Evenings at 9:00 PM in Egner Chapel when students are not on break.  The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered for Muhlenberg and Cedar Crest Colleges communities 8:30 PM prior to the beginning of Mass on Sundays or at other times by appointment.

Daily Masses are generally celebrated Mondays and Thursdays in St. Patrick Chapel on the second floor of the Newman Center. Mass on Monday is in English and offered according to the Ordinary Form of the Roman Rite. Mass on Thursday is in Latin and offered according to the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.

Social Activities

Catholic Campus Ministry engages in many social activities from community fellowship dinners to joint activities with Chapel and Hillel.  Muhlenberg College students are invited to visit our social media feeds for up to date activity information.

Spiritual Activities

Catholic Campus Ministry offers many spiritual activities that seek to enhance and deepen students’ prayer and faith lives. Newman Center spiritual activities are open to all current students of Muhlenberg and Cedar Crest Colleges.

Retreat Activities

Currently, the Students of Catholic Campus Ministry are invited to connect and build community with other Catholic Students from other Newman Centers in the Diocese of Allentown through the Intercollegiate Diocesan Retreat.
