A five-hour workshop for Christian clergy that introduces the work of the Institute for Jewish-Christian Understanding and offers insight and resources for navigating the seasons of Lent, Holy Week and Easter, with their challenges in relation to Jewish-Christian relations.

How are the Passion Narratives shaped?  What role does Scripture play in telling the Passion story?  What roles do sacrifice, repentance and forgiveness play in Judaism?  How do congregations make the most of the resources provided by international dialogues, Vatican publications and scholarly publications?

These and other recent topics have offered the opportunity for clergy and congregational leaders to reflect on and sharpen their engagement with a holy time of year that has the unfortunate potential for unholy implications.

Christian clergy and others with some theological training.
