Program Overview
Muhlenberg College's Graduate Certificate in Applied Analytics is a five-course, one-year program where professionals develop the necessary data skills to identify patterns, analyze results and predict future outcomes. All courses in the certificate apply toward the master’s degree, which can be completed in a second year.
Admissions Requirements
Prospective students must have completed an undergraduate degree at an accredited institution. Students admitted to a graduate certificate will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Two years of work experience or, if a senior or recent graduate, professional work experiences through internships, summer work, externships, and projects may be sufficient
- Additional admissions requirements follow the college’s graduate admissions policy.

- Source, clean and transform data into descriptive summaries that can be presented, understood, and lead to action.
- Apply foundational techniques and principles of computing and utilize mathematical and statistical models for decision making
- Demonstrate ability to understand and explain database application design, data models, management, storage techniques, query languages, and database integration
- Select and use appropriate tools for the analysis of data
- Apply oral, visual and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and influence decision-makers
Tuition and Financial Aid
