The focus of the Division of College Life team is to encourage the personal and interpersonal growth, development and well being of the entire student body by fostering an environment that is caring, supportive and nurturing.
Ranging from athletics and community service, to health care and student activities, the entire organization is student focused and promotes community and social responsibility, ethics and leadership and the values and ideals of a quality, liberal arts experience.
Through graduate and continuing studies programs and corporate partnerships, Muhlenberg helps fuel the city’s and the Lehigh Valley’s significant growth.
Niare, a pre-med psychology major from the Bronx, New York, is studying to be a psychiatrist. On campus, he works in a psychology lab and the Writing Center, and he’s also a resident advisor.
For the first time in Muhlenberg’s history, the college has an elementary education major and minors in secondary education and education studies.
The team, whose members jokingly call it “Nerd Club,” took third place in the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges Northeast Region competition, again outperforming some larger schools.
