Ayane is currently a counseling trainee with aspirations of becoming a licensed professional counselor. She is actively pursuing her Master's degree in Counseling and Human Services at Lehigh University. Ayane is open to any topics that you would bring to the counseling room. Her passion lies in assisting individuals from diverse backgrounds in their journey towards a "better life." Drawing from her own experiences as a student, she seeks to guide clients who may be grappling with feelings of loneliness, depression, or general unhappiness stemming from various sources such as academic pressures, relationship issues, personal losses, or even when the reasons aren't entirely clear. Her counseling approach primarily incorporates person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, with influences from Feminist Theory and Positive Psychology. Outside of counseling, she enjoys cooking, listening to music, and walking in nature.
