Katie is a Nationally Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor having earned their B.A. in Counseling Psychology from East Stroudsburg University and their M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. Their primary theoretical orientation is a strong person-centered approach with a focus on emotional processing specifically related to family systems and LGBTQIA+ exploration of relational roles and identities. Katie has been working with adolescence and young adults for five years and is passionate about encouraging clients to discover the identity development of social roles while encouraging the examination of self. Katie believes that all individuals are capable of pursuing, and ultimately achieving, the best version of their current being when offered the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment.
